I recently had the pleasure of sharing a fine cut of the film with Barry Gifford.
Bottom line: he loved it! That's us, sharing a toast afterwards.
Very soon we will be entering what's known as the "picture lock" stage of the project. That's when the nuts-and-bolts phase of editing ends, and finishing tasks such as sound design and color correction begin. To get there we still need to raise some funds. If you know of any "angels" who might be interested in getting us over the finish line, please don't hesitate to drop me a line at roysworldfilm[at]gmail[dot]com. (And learn all about how your donation is fully tax deductible on our IFP Chicago page.)
Thanks again for cheering us on. We'll keep you posted!
